Qube 384用温度コントロールユニット
Qube offers the ability to record high fidelity electrophysiological effects at varying temperatures. The temperature can be controlled with feedback sensors from the recording chamber and can be both raised and lowered comparative to the ambient temperature. This allows for even more sophisticated experiments on the 384-platform.
Features & Benefits:
- QChip temperature can be elevated to 40 °C
- QChip temperature can be reduced to 5-8 °C above the dew point in the surrounding environment
- QChip temperature varies maximally +/- 1.6 °C across the plate
- QChip temperature varies maximally +/- 1 °C during the experiment
Temperature control of the recording chamber allows:
- Screening and quantification of temperature effects on ion channel targets
- Constant conditions for your experiments irrespective of the surroundings
- Experiments to be performed at physiological temperatures
For screening it is important to have constant conditions for the experiments. Some laboratories do not have climate control and then it becomes relevant that Qube be able to set and control the temperature in the recording chamber irrespective of the temperature in the laboratory.
On the other hand, the temperature sensitivity of ion channel kinetics and pharmacology can be studied with Qube with temperature control. For example, hERG that has accelerated activation and deactivation kinetics as well as elevated sensitivity to various compounds
