精神障害
精神障害は多くの人々に影響を及ぼし、非常に幅広い病態を包含します。 障害の程度は、社会性が薄弱になる軽度なものから人命を脅かすものまで幅広い範囲があります。イオンチャネルがこれらの疾患において重要な役割を果たすという証拠が増えてきています。神経の興奮性、神経伝達物質の放出、遺伝子転写および脳可塑性は、イオンチャネルの機能性に依存し、それゆえイオンチャネルの機能不全によって害される可能性があります。
